What "Revenue at Risk" Means

Revenue at risk is the estimated monthly revenue a contractor loses from having a weak Google profile — a combination of below-benchmark rating (under 4.5 stars) and low review count (under 30 reviews). It's calculated as: avg ticket × monthly jobs × estimated conversion loss rate, based on BrightLocal's published conversion data by review count and rating tier.

This is not the revenue you're guaranteed to recover. It's the gap between what your profile is producing today and what the same contractor, same location, same quality of work could produce with a competitive Google presence.

South Florida Market Context

Broward, Miami-Dade, and Palm Beach counties together represent one of the most competitive home service markets in the US — 6+ million residents, year-round construction demand, and a tech-savvy homeowner base that researches contractors on Google before calling anyone.

The market dynamics favor contractors who invest in proof. A roofing company in Fort Lauderdale with 120 reviews and a 4.8 average does not need to compete on price. A roofer with 14 reviews and a 3.9 average has to bid lower on every job — and still loses most of them.
